Poseidon Drying Towel

The Poseidon Drying Towels are an extremely high quality plush, soft towel for drying vehicles. This cloth has a high water absorbancy due to the thick pile. The cloth has a thick 1000 GSM pile, (Grams per square metre), therefore is suited to absorbing moisture more effectively due to the density of the product. The Poseidon Towel is durable, quick to dry, provides a streak free finish, and can be laundered up to 500 times. The size of the towel is 80cm x 60cm. The manufacturer recommends washing these cloths at around 40 degrees. As the cloths are made of the highest quality fabrics, they will allow washing up to 95 degrees, however shrinkage of up to 5% will occur after the initial few washes at this higher temperature. These cloths can be tumbled dried, which is actually of benefit as it opens up the fibres. Do not use any fabric softeners or conditioners when washing as these will leave a coating on the fabric, preventing the microfibres from working efficiently. The manufacturer would recommend discarding these towels if you have used one of these towels to clean up a mess which consists of sticky, or glue-like substances, or used on surfaces which are extremely dirty. This would prevent accidental damage to the vehicle you are working on.
